Lisa Warwick is an accomplished and Certified Medical Dosimetrist currently serving as the Chief Medical Dosimetrist at the Medical University of South Carolina Radiation Oncology Department in Charleston; she has worked there since 2010. Lisa plays a vital part as a clinical teacher and committee member for the Medical Physics Residency Program. Her expertise spans Treatment Planning, Teaching Dosimetry to Residents, and Managing a Team of 5 Medical Dosimetrists.
Lisa's journey began with an Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy from the SUNY Upstate Medical University in 1995, followed by a Bachelor's degree from the University of St. Francis in 1999, and a Certificate in Medical Dosimetry from the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse in 2006.
Lisa has held prior roles as a Dosimetrist at the University of North Carolina and as a Program Director at the Grady Health School of Radiation Therapy in Atlanta.
Lisa has consistently showed leadership and a commitment to education in the Radiation Oncology Field. She has contributed to research in several publications displaying her expertise in dosimetric evaluation and innovative techniques in breast irradiation.
Today Lisa is going to be talking about how she implemented a hybrid work schedule with protected remote rotations for the Medical Dosimetrists at her Academic Institution.
