Ron DiGiaimo, MBA, FACHE, is the Chairman and CEO of Revenue Cycle Coding Strategies. He is a frequent speaker and author for nationally recognized professional organizations and publications. Ron directs several oncology specific and broad healthcare consulting companies to facilitate clients reaching their desired goals. He also serves as a national government expert witness to the Department of Justice and Office of Inspector General in Washington D.C. and various state levels, regarding oncology fraud and abuse of Medicare spending.
Ron often speaks at regional and national conferences on many topics including radiation oncology coding, CMS payment systems, governmental regulatory updates and other healthcare compliance issues. Recent speaking engagements include the Association of Community Cancer Centers, National Association of Proton Therapy, America Society of Radiologic Technologists, Society for Radiation Oncology Administrators, American Association of Medical Dosimetrists, and American College of Radiation Oncology.
In his professional career, Ron has been responsible for the growth and development of multiple companies dedicated to the specialty of oncology. This includes but is not limited to cancer center development, reimbursement training for radiation oncologists, radiation therapists, physicists, dosimetrists and
other personnel, consulting and new business joint ventures and ownership structures. Specifically, Ron was responsible for all product lines (radiation oncology, medical oncology, diagnostic radiology and GYN oncology) within US Oncology on a national scale and directed, edited and assisted in the creation of US Oncology Radiation Guide.
Ron holds a MBA from Oklahoma Christian University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from Weber State University. He is an active member of American College of Radiation Oncology, American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, Society of Radiation Oncology Administrators, American Association of Medical Dosimetrists, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Association of Cancer Executives and several other groups whose missions forward the cause of oncology management.
