Arya Amini, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology and Chief of Thoracic Radiotherapy at City of Hope with the responsibility of leading the main center and community network in up to date treatment management and research in lung, head and neck, and skin cancer. He has multiple leadership responsibilities at national cooperative groups and societies including the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG), and American College of Radiology (ACR). His research focuses on the role of radiation in metastatic lung cancer and locally advanced skin cancer. His research has led to over 190 published manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals and multiple book chapters. He currently leads several of his own investigator initiated trials in lung and skin cancer
